About the Author

Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo is an internationally-acclaimed naturopathic physician, researcher, and lecturer, as well as the author of the  New York Times best-selling  Eat Right 4 Your Type book series. I''m better off just cooking recipes that use the foods & ingredients that are recommended for O types and adjust my diet accordingly. If you''re not a cook and need ideas, this might work for you but be forewarned. None of these recipes are exciting to look at, never mind eat.

It is also fascinating that not one person I have asked out of @50...knew their blood type. This book makes absolute sense to my body feeling good. In many ways I found I tended over the last 45 yrs to really like what is good for me. How''s that for a diet. The books recipes are just on the side of creative to be delicious....but without a back index it drives me wild. Sometimes you have a slew of squash and want a recipe for squas.

Easy to follow recipes and everyone that I have tried has come out tasty. I have found some favorites that I make over and over again. Some recipes I would like to try but I am having difficulty finding the ingredients. That is the only reason I have rated this a 4 and not a 5. I will say that ever since I have been following the Eat Right for Your Blood Type, my blood pressure has gone done and remains in the normal range and I feel great. I am maintaining weight rather than gaining. When I eat something that I am not supposed to, I do feel the indigestion. So having this cookbook really helps me to plan meals.

I started reading about this way of eating on the Internet and found myself nodding my head in agreement regarding health issues that my blood type commonly experienced. I then bought the book and it was amazing how much better I felt Ilin just a week following the suggestions in the book. The Blood Group Diet has worked for me, no doubt about it. It would be great if someone could write a book such as this for the UK market.
